Walking, exercise and fun may not be three words you'd necessarily put in the same sentence -

but wait! Let's rethink this.

Have you ever thought "Hmmm, I surely would like to be THERE!"

England on a beautiful summer's day - specifically, Oxfordshire.

If you are a fan of John Nettles and "Midsomer Murders" you'll recognize the villages

and streets you will be walking on in this walking video. Your friends and family

tell you to get out and exercise, but sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate -

and there isn't enough extra money or time to hop on the plane to England!

So let this walking video put you there

and make your indoor walking exercise not only do-able, but actually FUN!

Take an hour out of your day and go walking

in Henley-on-Thames, Dorcester-on -Thames and

Warborough (okay, you know this as Badger's Drift if you are a fan of the BBC series.)

Continuing with our walking, we next arrive in Ewelme

(you may remember that this village was featured in the episode "Beyond the Grave".)

Next we continue walking and reach the Chiltern Hills,

a part of England designated in 1965 as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

When the English grant the AONB award, you know you're in for a special treat!

Walking in these well-maintained areas is indeed special

and can almost make you forget that you are exercising!

We are now walking in the market town of Watlington

(but you Midsomer fans know this as Causton).

Walking into our final village on this one hour video, we reach Wallingford.

Of all the Midsomer village locations, this may well be the most recognizable for fans.

DCI Barnaby is often pictured walking on the streets of Wallingford/Causton.

And now, you find yourself back along the banks of the Thames - and guess what?

You've been walking an hour and probably lost track of the time.

Give yourself a pat on the back and then decide where you would like to journey next.
